Rand McGrath has had a lifelong passion for nature and the environment. Through his photography he seeks to create awareness, educate and advocate for the conservation of our natural environment both above and below the water.

 

Rand specializes in wildlife, landscape and underwater photography throughout the US, Caribbean, Pacific and Sea of Cortez.

 

Through his photographic lens, he seeks to capture the unique and inspiring essence of his home state of Florida with its stunning nature landscapes and wildlife to artistically document and photograph the "Real Florida”.

 

Rand is a native Floridian and grew up in South Florida. He was certified in scuba diving at age 19 and has logged over 2,500 dives. He and his wife, Janice, first date was scuba diving and both have shared a love of the ocean for many years; which Rand now imparts through his photography. They raised two beautiful and incredible daughters in Melbourne Beach, Florida and Southern Wisconsin passing down to their children a passion and respect for our natural world.

 

Rand and his wife Janice currently reside in Winter Beach, Florida with their English Labrador, Kaymin…and are always looking forward to their next adventure.
